We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, February 28th to our second annual dinner for Plant Hall preservation, Chiseling a Legacy. Together we will enjoy an evening of conversation, dining and dancing that will ensure The Chiselers can continue to do our vital work of preserving and restoring historic Plant Hall.
Plant Hall, originally the Tampa Bay Hotel, stands as a symbol of Tampa’s rich history and a testament to the vision of Henry Plant, whose endeavors laid the foundation for Tampa’s growth and prosperity. Preserving this magnificent structure is not merely about maintaining a building; it is about safeguarding the stories, artistry, and spirit that define our community for generations to come.
For more than 60 years, The Chiselers, in partnership with the University of Tampa have worked to restore and preserve Plant Hall, ensuring its legacy endures. However, this mission requires resources and collaborative support from community members and businesses who value the preservation of history as much as we do.
Together, we can ensure that Plant Hall continues to inspire, educate, and unite our community for years to come. Your continued support will not only preserve a piece of Tampa’s history but also demonstrate your dedication to our shared heritage.
